Making Artifacts for Humanities

By | Art, Humanities, Students | No Comments

Leif F. and Sebastian are making artifacts out of clay. These artifacts are similar to artifacts that were found in excavation sites of ancient Greece and Alexandria. Sebastian is making Eratosthenes’ head out of clay. Eratosthenes was a Greek mathematician, geographer, poet, astronomer, and music theorist. He later became the head librarian of Alexandria. Leif is making an ancient Greek wine bottle out of clay, ancient Greek wine bottles are similar to modern wine bottles however they are much wider at the bottom.
